Teanum

The secret of “Teanum” success depends both on the climate, territorial and cultural characteristics of its territory and upon a mix of determination, professionalism and ideas of the men that run this firm.

The winery is located in a territory, between Gargano and Appennino Dauno, at the very beginning of Puglia region, precisely in the village San Paolo di Civitate. The name of the winery comes from an ancient and important Roman city, Teanum Apullum, whose territory was already famous in the IV century b. C. for its wines.

This adventure was started by Domenico Demaio that, along with Vincenzo De Matteo, promotes quality wine-making, made up of selected vineyards and the most advanced wine technology. They started a new and ambitious project, that is completed by the support of the international wine expert Donato Giuliani, that manages to combine an innovative spirit with the territory tradition.
